We had been through\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: #6b6b6b;\">many trying times and a lot of loss. I struggled in my relationship with my dad and cried myself to sleep\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: #6b6b6b;\">most nights through high school. As I got older, I wanted to help other families go through difficult\u00a0times with a little more ease and direction than I had.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #6b6b6b;\"><br \/>After college, I went straight to graduate school to become a Marriage and Family Therapist. I became<br \/>licensed in 1995 as a therapist and was working teaching Parent and Me classes. I researched, I read and\u00a0I worked with so many families to get through the bumps in the road of having a growing family as my<br \/>own family was growing, too. My three daughters were challenging for me and through reading and<br \/>learning from amazing mentors, I discovered my passion for helping to ease the way for other families.
